Greeting Cards also available) Near Jasper and just off the Icefields Parkway, Sunwapta falls is a beautiful carved out gorge where glacial silt gives it spectacular highlights of turquoise. Cameron Falls, found in the townsite of Waterton Village, are the site of the oldest rock in the entire range of Rockies.  Precambrian bedrock dating 1.5 billion years  has become exposed and is visible near the falls. Ice starts to form from the spray of the water in autumn. Located south of Drumheller on the Hoodoo Trail, these interesting formations are created by water and wind erosion.   Once the caprock falls off, the erosion continues at a much faster pace. Bragg Creek Provincial Park is the gateway to Kananaskis Country and can be found approximately 2km southwest of the Bragg Creek townsite.  It has great picnic areas and hiking trails. Evening light warms up the blue skies over Allan Bill Pond. About 15km west of Bragg Creek on Highway 66, Allan Bill Pond used to be stocked for fishing.  During the floods of 2005 the Elbow River changed course and now runs right through it. You can't get away from the gorgeous views here.  A ramshackle old picnic shed offers stunning vistas near Redrock Canyon. Fresh snow contrast the rich colours of bark and trunks in this forest off the Bow Valley Provincial Parkway.
